What brings more delight and joy than a newborn child onto the scene of our marriages? Yet with that bundle of joy come all the surprising challenges of parenthood. Challenges that change with every passing year and each new addition to the family. In this presentation, Tim takes a look at how the family must adapt over the life cycle to best meet the needs of our growing children. Drawing upon Scriptural principles, psychological research and a blended family of five children, he brings a fresh and practical approach to this close-to-the-heart subject of raising our kids.

In this presentation Tim will share his own testimony that led him from his Protestant Evangelical Christian roots to the Roman Catholic Church where he and his family now live out their faith.
PSYCHOTHERAPY AND FAITH 
What is the relationship between psychology and our faith? Christians have wrestled with the validity and viability of psycho-therapy for years. Many are led to the extremes of seeing all forms of psychological intervention as heresy left only to the faithless. While others delve into psychology as the answer to all of life’s problems. Dr. Heck explores the two fields with an aim toward sound Biblical integration of psychological theory with orthodox Christian teaching.
